SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM Program Executive Office-Maritime Undersea (PEO-M), will host an Assessment Event (AE) to identify solutions for submersible vehicle programs fault-tolerant battery technology. In June 2021, SOFWERX hosted a Virtual Collaboration Event (CE) to (1) promote specific areas of interest, (2) encourage an early exchange of information, and (3) provide an opportunity for both Government and Industry to gather more information prior to the release of a formal solicitation. With valuable information learned from that event, PEO-M is seeking proposals that define system level solutions for the Main Battery system for the PEO-M Program Office needs.
